Here is the progress I have made on my most recent drawing. (sorry for the odd angle; my scanner isn't working so this is from my camera) I am planning on developing this piece a lot more & hoping to submit it to a local "Zine" which features writing & art.

Practice practice practice

Just another practice sketch done from a reference photo. I am trying to get a speed & consistency built into my drawings. 

Classes in Session

So yes although it has been two years since I attended any sort of formal schooling; I have hit the books again. Here is to lots more time to doodle in class. (real jobs make doodling difficult) 

Floral Crown (new art)

Today I decided to combine a mix or hand illustration with some floral arranging.

I love flowers in hair.

The leaves & flowers are all local wild flowers I picked on my bike ride after work.

Rhubarb-vision

So for many a year I was chiefly referred to as Rhubarb. 

Not that I minded. Rhubarb is great especially in crisp.

Just arrived back from a day short of three weeks in Mexico.

What a whirl wind!

Would fill you in on more after I get some sleep.

New Art for Thursday

Sorry I am unfamiliar with this model & don't know her name.

(I promise to hunt it down & get it though)
I sketched this quickly with pencil. Then I inked it with a regular black pen.

I added colour with crayons (of all things) & then melted the wax with an iron. 

I added a bit more detail with a fine point sharpie after.
