Kloss & Sturridge Duo Sketchbook Series

illustration: reubenvision

Karlie Kloss and Tom Sturridge as seen in Vogue U.S.
A part in my Ink Sketchbook Series. Thought I would give myself a bit more of a challenge (as if drawing using only pens wasn't enough) and include 2 people instead of the usual 1. There is also the distinct problem I have with drawing peoples faces sideways!? I have deemed it highly improbable to achieve this look convincingly.

Kasia Struss, Sketchbook Series

Kasia Struss as seen in Vogue Russia shot by Tom Ford.
Another installments in my model sketchbook series. I am drawing the entire series in ink; that means no erasers!

Sweater Season Is Here

source: krisatomic

Cable-knit, cardigan, cozy pullover or any other warm comfortable form; sweater season is here & I am loving it. These are some great sweaters I have been "pinning" to my fashion board on Pinterest .
I am going to try & prolong the "winter jacket" as long as possible this year & my solution is sweaters.

Karlie in China

Here is a practice peace I painted from a photo of Karlie Kloss, in the latest September edition of Vogue. The editorial is a great shoot in all various locations across China.
I am slowly getting used to Gouache Paint.
~ Have a great weekend ~

While there is nothing ground-breaking here
There is nothing here I don't totally love

coffee: McDonald's buy free
So I was drinking a free coffee from McD the other day & thinking...
When I was younger I didn't like the taste of coffee nor did I think drinking coffee was something cool that I aspired to. The thing is I am getting a craving for coffee all of the sudden. Before I might have had coffee once every 2 months; to be polite but now I will be eating something or walking somewhere & suddenly get the urge to buy a coffee!?
I did however always love the smell of coffee which I relate closely to my parents.
