These are just three drawing that I completed in  my drawing class this year. I am working on building my portfolio & going through all of my stuff. I am not sure if these will make it in, but I thought I would share.

Here is the progress I have made on my most recent drawing. (sorry for the odd angle; my scanner isn't working so this is from my camera) I am planning on developing this piece a lot more & hoping to submit it to a local "Zine" which features writing & art.

Taking the Cake

I decided to make this drawing a little "topsy-turvy" as a reflection of my schedule lately. I haven't posted in what feels like forever & I will try to get some more content up here to make up for it. I referenced her legs from a great illustrater that I have only recently discovered. Check out her blog here: caitlinquiet.blogspot.com I am not overly pleased with how this turned out; but that is what practice is for. I  am also taking a observational drawing course right now & I might upload some of my class works.

I would love to see her live sometime. Hopefully I won't be relating to all of her brake up songs from experience by then. I could listen to her voice all day. (Now if I could figure out why my Photoshop wont open!?)

A little break from my Sketchbook Series. This is a practice in hatching & crosshatching for my drawing course at school. Amanda Seyfried as seen in an Elle editorial. Done in pencil. 

WIP floral friday

Some detail shots of a large illustration I am working on. The entire piece is around 2' x 4'.  I am using larger papers lately & it is pushing my comfort zone. I shall upload a shot of the entire thing when I am finished. 

Karlie in China

Here is a practice peace I painted from a photo of Karlie Kloss, in the latest September edition of Vogue. The editorial is a great shoot in all various locations across China. 

I am slowly getting used to Gouache Paint.
