summer supper

Gathered at some friends house for a traditional "Sunday Supper".

We all enjoyed the fresh corn on the cob, spinach salad, market carrots, broccoli, home grown garden potatoes & BBQ steak. I brought some flowers I picked on my way there & after we got a tour of the chicken coop.

A STROLL UP THE BLUFF

There is a place just outside of town that I've been meaning to go to for a couple of years. It is called "The Bluff". It was a lovely evening tonight & I had nothing to do. Problem was solved when I called up some of my chums & opted to explore "the Bluff". The view along the ridge is really quite gorgeous. 

Packing up my life

Well it seems my life is taking a drastic turn. Although not confirmed I am tentatively taking a new job, in a new city. There is still a lot of unknowns. Which is going to require a lot of prayer to the One who knows everything. I am thankful to have supportive friends & great opportunities.  This next little while may be a bit choppy as far as blog posts.

I recently had the displeasure of taking a good friend of mine's cat to the vet to be put down.

Ben the cat was very sick & neither my friend nor her husband could handle bringing her to the vet.

So this post is for my friend & her cat Ben whom is missed dearly.
