Florals at Christmas Part II

arrangements: reubenvision

A mix of pinecones, roses, candles & evergreen boughs. Here are some shots of the centre pieces that will be making the trip to Grammy's. (I will be sure to replace the candle before I gift them ;)

Well I am off to get wrapping. We are doing Christmas as a family tomorrow before heading out of Province on the 25th. I am planning on one more post (Christmas Eve) before taking a little break for some holiday fun.

Florals at Christmas (Preview)

floral arrangement: reubenvison

Guests are soon to arrive for an night of carols & good festive cheer. Here is a little preview of one of the arrangements I made for the occasion. Hope you are enjoying this holiday season as well, this evening.

To market, to market

Here are some shots from my recent venture selling Christmas cards at the local Farmers Market. It was really freezing (next year I must attempt to secure an indoor booth) but it was a lot of fun. Displaying product is always a bit of a challenge but I am fairly happy with how this turned out.

Hopefully by next year I will be organized enough to have an online market place as well.

Currently am knee deep in my Christmas card series. I may have mentioned it before but its a twelve days of Christmas theme. Above you see out-takes from my "Two Turtle Doves" card. I am hoping to have a huge pile ready to sell at the market this weekend.

LE PETIT PENGUIN

I thought I would whip up some gift bags for Christmas.

Cafe Christmas Decor Instillation

Well I had a very full and fulfilling day. I just love Christmas and had a blast decking the Cedar Tree Cafe in holiday cheer. I even got to try my hand at window decor (though my parents insist the red laurel motifs could use some berries to make them more festive). All of the greenery was collected courtesy in my neighbour the wonderful forest. Now all we need is some snow to set the mood.

Happy First of December!

Dig out the winter boots. Unpack the mittens scarves and sweaters. Get out the ribbon, scissors and shears. It is time to start decking the halls in style.

I am excited, are you?
